- ABOUT US | littleace-new
About LittleAce Junior Tennis Academy Since 2011, LittleAce has introduced 300+ players to tennis while developing provincial champions, ITF Junior competitors, and NCAA scholarship athletes through a structured, long-term pathway 🏆 Provincial Champions 🎓 NCAA Scholarship Athletes 🌍 ITF Junior Tour Experience 👟 300+ Players Introduced Since 2011 Our Development Philosophy At LittleAce, development comes before results—but results follow development. Training is built around: Sound technical fundamentals Athletic movement and footwork Discipline, consistency, and match readiness Age-appropriate progression and clear pathways Players are grouped by development stage, not just age, ensuring that each athlete receives the right level of challenge and support. We prioritize long-term growth over short-term wins, helping young players build confidence, resilience, and a strong work ethic on and off the court. Coaching Leadership LittleAce is led by Head Coach Catalin Codita, whose experience spans grassroots development, provincial competition, collegiate pathways, and international junior tennis. Catalin brings firsthand exposure to the ITF Junior Tour, having attended and supported players at tournaments across France, Portugal, Guadeloupe, Panama, Costa Rica, and the United States. This international experience allows LittleAce families to benefit from real-world insight into competitive standards, preparation, and pathway expectations. Through the LittleAce pathway program and Nike Sport Camps, Catalin has introduced over 300 players to the game of tennis since launching the program, helping young athletes take their first steps in the sport while also supporting those pursuing higher-level competition. Proven Results and Alumni LittleAce has built a strong track record of junior development and competitive success. Program alumni include Andrew Codita, a former top junior in Canada and multiple-time provincial junior champion, who earned an NCAA tennis scholarship to Findlay University. There, he served as team captain, became the program’s all-time wins record holder, and led the team to its first regional championship and NCAA Nationals appearance. The program has also guided Eva Codita, a multiple-time provincial junior champion and aspiring ITF Junior competitor. Eva captured the U14 Doubles title and finished runner-up in Mixed Doubles at the prestigious Little Mo / Big Mo International Championships, reflecting the program’s emphasis on fundamentals and competitive readiness. Additional emerging provincial talents who have worked within the LittleAce system include Asher Malayil, Jackson VanPe, Oliver Kin Kai Cheng, and Liam Belt Zheng, members of the 2024 U10 Eastern Ontario Provincial Team Championship. Other rising players include Jayden Rigonan, a developing U10 provincial athlete, and Liam Pagdanganan, a rising U12 player. In 2024, Catalin also led two teams to capture titles at the ICTA Junior Event, further reinforcing LittleAce’s focus on discipline, preparation, and match performance. More than competition While competitive outcomes matter, LittleAce remains deeply committed to growing the game responsibly. Many players begin their journey with LittleAce through introductory and development programs, gaining confidence, coordination, and a positive first experience in tennis. Others progress toward provincial, national, and collegiate pathways. Both outcomes are valued and supported. Our goal is not to create early pressure—but to create opportunity. Our Commitment LittleAce Junior Tennis Academy is committed to: Honest, transparent communication with families Structured programming with clear expectations Long-term athlete development over shortcuts A positive, supportive training environment Whether a child is picking up a racquet for the first time or preparing for higher-level competition, LittleAce provides a pathway built on experience, integrity, and proven results.
